Vedic Maths: Addition - Double digit + Single digits.

Vedic Maths: Addition - Double-digit + Single digits.

Hello, friends today we are going to do the practice of the new Vedic Maths concept of adding the double-digit + single digit this is the easiest method to solve double-digit sums with single-digit to solve this double-digit + single-digit numbers we need to revise our previous post where we had learned how to find End numbers? The End the number is the unit place number of the solution this we had to learn in our previous post in this post we are starting a new concept of Vedic Maths addition double digits + single digit also if you don't know what is Vedic Maths?  then you can learn our post name Introduction to Vedic Maths let's begin the new concept of Vedic Maths double-digit + single digit.

To learn our new concept in Vedic Maths, we are going to take an example of a double + single-digit number and the example is 37 + 6 to solve this by Vedic Maths we are not going to use our modern maths method. But we are going to solve this sum with Vedic Maths so to solve this double-digit + single digits we need to revise the Vedic Maths End Number concept which we had already learned in our previous post in that post we had learned that if 7 + 6 so 7 + 6 is equal to 13 but we are writing only 3 because 3 is the unit place of 13.  so this was the short review of our Vedic maths End Number concept.

Now continuing our Example 37 + 6 we need to identify if this is a carrying number or a non-carrying here two new words came to carry numbers or non carry numbers. The carrying number means it remains to carry after the solution and the non-carrying number doesn't remain any carry after the solution. 37 + 6 when we had a 7 plus 6 it gives a carrying number 13 so carries 1. so we are going to add that 1 in 3 tens place 3 + 1 is equal to 4 this is our tens place answer now to find our unit place answer we need to remember End Number Vedic Maths trick and that requires the solution last digit number 7 + 6 is equal to 13 show the end digit number is 3.

Now we will get our final answer for this example 37 + 6 till now we have got the answer of the tens place digit and unit place digit.  where the tens place digit was 4 and our unit place digit was 3  now combining both these digits we got our final answer for this example 37 + 6 is equal to 43.  for an explanation I am writing this much things but when you are practicing a well you will be able to solve this type of sum in mind within some seconds you need to do hard work to solve these types of sums after this sums there are a lot and lot harder somewhere you need to remember this type of easy easy sums like in this concept we had to remember our end digit number Vedic Maths trick.

For solving the fast sums we are now taking another example here we will not understand many more and our next example is 28 + 7  here 28 is a double-digit number and 7 a single-digit number we are going to use directly Vedic Maths trick that first identified the some other it carries a number or non-carrying number if it carries number then we have to have 1 in the tens place means 2 + 1 is equal to 3 so remember 3 in our mind and serving our unit place answer and forth it we are going to use and digit numbers so 7 + 8 is equal to 15 so n digit is 5 now adding both unit and tens place digits we got our final answer 35.

By step points to solve double + single-digit sums:

  • Step 1 identify the given sum is carry number on care number
  • Step 2 if it is carry number then add one  in the tens place and if it is not then written as it
  • Step 3 by adding 1 to tens digit  find that tens unit  answer
  • Step 4 Now find the unit place answer by End method Vedic maths tricks
  • Step 5 write your final answer

Now we are solving examples of carrying number sums of double-digit + single digit.

Example of the Carrying Number:

So let's say taking an example of 72  + 9   by walking step by step first we have to identify is this is a carrying number or non-caring number so it is a carrying number so we are going to add one in the tens place Win 7 + 1 is equal to 8 and also we are going to find unit place answer by 2 + 9 is equal to 11 and the 1 is our unit place digit. now combining our tens place and the unit place we will get our final answer so that unit place is 1 and tens place is it so our answer is 81 this was carrying example sum of double-digit + single digit.

Example of the Non-carrying Number:

Taking not caring number example 85 + 4 Again by walking through step by step will have to identify whether it is carrying number on the carrying number and if it is occurring number then we will add one in the tens place and if it is not then we will write it as it is Here it is the not caring number because 5 + 4 is equal to one digit unit answer which is 9. Tens place digit as it is and it is it our final answer will be 89.

So this was our new concept of a double-digit Plus single digit in the Vedic maths before that we had also learned concepts like and a number Vedic Maths trick and an introduction to the Vedic maths if you had not read this then make sure you read it to understand this concept properly.

If you like this Vedic Maths double-digit + single-digit sum and want to be powerful in Vedic maths then place keep practicing day by day these types of sums our upcoming post will be of double-digit + double-digit to learn that concept you need to do this concept clear and also if you want to see the video format of this post then you can visit my YouTube channel My Vedic Maths book and also like share and subscribe the videos over there.
